Based in her studio in Bordeaux since 2020, Eléa Lelimouzin creates minimalist, sober and organic handmade ceramics.
Each piece is handcrafted with patience and care, using a variety of techniques such as colombin, plaque and pinch. Above all, her work is raw, sober and imperfect. She uses black stoneware, which she decorates and enamels with natural glazes of her own making.
Fascinated by archaeology since childhood, Eléa draws her inspiration from ceramics altered by time to create timeless pieces full of soul and imperfection that invite contemplation and leave no one indifferent. Her ceramics could have been made thousands of years ago, yet are perfectly at home in contemporary and modern, raw and minimalist interiors.
Eléa exports her pieces all over the world and with them the values of sensitivity, simplicity, humility and uniqueness that she wants to convey through her work. She works with interior designers, hotels, restaurants and interior design stores in France and abroad, and also offers my pieces to private customers through her online boutique.
