Maison Rhizomes, a studio for art rugs, will participate at the end of November in the first edition of the Wabi Sabi salon organized by Daniel Rozensztroch.
Maison Rhizomes will present its “Beige & White” collection created by the Belgian painter Charlotte Culot. Rich in textures, this collection uses very high-quality materials: mainly wool, silk, and hemp.
All these rugs, limited to 22 pieces, are hand-knotted by skilled Nepalese artisans and can be used on the floor or hung on the wall.
Charlotte Culot will also present a series of micro-sized paintings and a large format specially painted for this Wabi Sabi salon. Inspired by the painter Jean Fautrier for this capsule of work, Charlotte Culot explores one of her favorite research themes: matter and textures declined in shades of white.
Art rugs and paintings interact and complement each other, forming a unique universe. Each painting is unique and will not be reproduced.
