Cosima Obringer
Cosima Obringer, also known by her Chinese name 小星星 (“Little Star”), develops a body of work she calls “The Adventure of Asia.” She works with two main tools: the Asian brush and scissors, combining ink, handmade papers and gouache-painted paper collages, in a dialogue between Asian traditions and a spirit close to Matisse.
My calligraphic works, collages, sculptures, and installations form a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, where exploration blends with surprise and mystery.
My work is titled *The Adventure of Asia*.
